We are 5 students in year 12 from Townley Grammar School who want to push the boundaries of normal education by taking part in the Wings of Hope Achievement Award, where we hope to enhance our skills within our school and wider community, in order to raise money in the effort provide free education for children in India and Malawi.

We chose to do WOHAA because as a group we feel very passionate about the cause and are determined to see it through and see positive change in the world.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us out by donating to our cause. We will be running 4 exciting events including running a marathon between our group ,which we will train for and a school bake off that will happen over the next few months. Through any support you are able to provide us, our team could possibly be selected for the WOHAA Semi Finals at the Houses of Parliament or win work experience placements or an amazing trip to India.

To put our fundraising target into prospective, £250 sponsors the education of a child in India for a year, and £150 sponsors the education of a child in Malawi, which is less than 70p and 50p a day so please give generously if you can, every little helps!

Thank you so much,

Venturing Vendors Tom, Tisha, Calvin, Caitlin, Maya
