Mya Koura

We are a group of 4 students in Year 12 from The Henrietta Barnett School who are participating in the Wings of Hope Achievement Award, which allows us to run amazing fundraising projects and events in order to help provide free education for underprivileged children in India and Malawi.

We recognise that we are in a very fortunate position to be able to receive an education, therefore our participation in WOHAA stemmed from our wish to pass on such a vital and life changing tool to those who are less fortunate. As John Dewey once said: "Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself", therefore we would really appreciate it if you could help us out by donating to such a worthwhile cause :)

Over the next few months we will be running some very exciting fundraising events and if we do well, we could be selected for the WOHAA Semi Finals at the Houses of Parliament! £250 sponsors the education of a child in India for a year, and £150 sponsors the education of a child in Malawi, which is less than 70p and 50p a day so please give generously if you can as every little helps!

Be sure to follow our Instagram page: to see how we get on!
Thank you very much,
