A message from Team Accelerate,
when Mrs Rajini, co-founder of the W.O.H charity, spoke in our schools speakers assembly on an early Monday morning, many thought she would have to work a miracle to keep the attention of a whole hall of yawning sixthformers. However, when presenting her charity and talking about their cause she didn’t have to speak animatedly or entertain us with humour, it was her utter sincerity and noticeable dedication to a charitable way of life (that lead her to founding the charity and all the work they do) which left many of us inspired to contribute.

We are Team Accelerate taking on the 2018-19 WOHAA fundraising challenge. Not only does participating in the WOHA Award give us a chance to help disadvantaged children, our age and younger, to fulfill their academic potential but it also allows us to develop our own organisation and leadership skills. So, if you too believe in the transformative power of education, please support this amazing charity which provides opportunities for so many that they can continue and expand their current, impactful work by donating.

P.S. to visualise the impact of your donation; £10 provides schooling materials for after-school tuition centres in Malawi, £75 pays for half a year of schooling in Malawi, £150 pays for one whole year of schooling in Malawi, £125 pays for half a year of schooling in India, £250 pays for one whole year of schooling in India. Any size donation is welcome.

Many thanks,
Team Accelerate!
