Located on the North Eastern tip of Tanzania Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the world’s highest peaks and the setting for a truly amazing charity trek!
This is an amazing opportunity to trek Kilimanjaro and one of the most beautiful parts of Africa over 10 days and climb to heights of over 5500 metres!
Be prepared to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the jungle, spectacular wildlife, breath taking glaciers, and experience something others will only ever dream of.
The following gives you a brief taste of the challenge ahead.
Fly London to Kilimanjaro airport
Transfer to Arusha
Begin trekking the Machame route first climb to 3100m
Ascend through forest on the Shira Plateau camp at 3840m
Pass underneath the Lava Tower and Western Breach (acclimatisation time)
Trek the Great Barranco ravine towards Karanga Valley
Ascend towards summit glaciers, sun rise at Stella Point before final push to Uhuru peak at 5895m!!
Gentle trek back down to rain forest and Mweka – receive certificate of ascent!
Time to explore, transfer to airport for flight home
