We are looking for dedicated and hard working people with a passion for international development and a belief in the power of education.
Our Ambassadors are responsible for promoting our programme to teachers and students in schools across London. We are looking for enthusiastic presenters that are able to promote our vision by engaging large audiences of young people. This is a fantastic opportunity for university students, recent graduates, gap year students or anyone wishing to pursue a career in the charity/educational sector.
With over 15,000 previous participants, this is an exciting time to be part of our rapidly expanding charity. We provide comprehensive training and personal development opportunities. Our school audiences are situated throughout London therefore, willingness to travel and flexibility of working hours is essential.
The The Wings of Hope Children’s Charity provides free education to poor and orphaned children in developing countries. We strongly believe that empowering through education is vital in breaking the cycle of dependency, promoting long-term sustainable development and liberating communities from inequality. The Wings of Hope Achievement Award (WOHAA) is a unique programme we run in London and the UK to challenge students to think out side of the box, be creative and innovative whilst developing key transferable skills to succeed within and beyond the academic arena. They fundraise for our charity, helping children less fortunate than themselves in India and Malawi with great rewards and opportunities along the way!
Run by students for students, our volunteers are extensively rewarded throughout and gain valuable work experience whilst developing key transferable skills – essential for today’s CV’s and UCAS forms.
