Previous Participant experiences

Rahil Vora, Mt Kilimanjaro

In July 2004 Rahil Vora climbed to the Uhuru Peak of Mt Kilimanjaro to raise funds and awareness of for The Wings of Hope. The 19,400ft ascent took 5 days between the 23-27 July and the descent within 2 days.

“I am pleased to write to you and inform you that my mission to Mt Kilimanjaro was successful. After 3 gruelling days of climbing I was able to reach the Uhuru Peak of Mt Kilimanjaro which is the highest point in Africa. The experience however was made more bearable by the reminder that my climb would help raise money for your charity.”
