• 1 night cycling challenge
• 100km circular route
• All the sights of London
Cycle through London at night and raise money for Wings of Hope! This must be the most fun and challenging way to explore London!
Starting at Crystal Palace in south east London at about 11pm we will set off together on this 100km circular ride. The route will be fully sign-posted so you can cycle at your own pace. Along the way we will take in some of London's most famous streets and landmarks.
The ride will finish at Crystal Palace in time for some well earned breakfast together.

Cycle London to Paris

• Long weekend challenge
• Normandy countryside
• Finish under the Eiffel Tower
Enjoy this long weekend challenge and soak up some French culture whilst raising money for the Wings of Hope! The route links two great European cities, London and Paris, covering around 300km in just 3 days. Encounter historic towns, sleepy villages and rolling countryside en-route. Cycle along wide Parisian boulevards to the finishing line at the city’s most famous landmark, the Eiffel Tower. You will then have a free day to explore the sights of Paris before boarding the Eurostar train back to London.
DAY 1: Cycle from London Borough of Bexley, through Kent and along edge of North Downs to Dover. Ferry to Calais then coach transfer to Dieppe. 116km
DAY 2: Quiet tree lined roads and sleepy Normandy villages to Gournay en Bray. Some challenging hills to conquer en-route! 80km
DAY 3: Ride from Gournay en Bray to outskirts of Paris. Reach city centre via the famous Bois de Boulogne park. Finish under Eiffel Tower. 114km.
DAY 4: Explore Paris before returning to London on board Eurostar.

• Discover forts, temples and remote villages
Raise money for The Wings of Hope in one of the countries which we support!
Rajasthan, the Land of Kings, is India at its most exotic and colourful. A visit to the Taj Mahal makes a breathtaking backdrop to the start of the challenge. Marvel at dramatic desert landscape, ancient temples and hilltop forts, witness traditional rural life frozen in time and stay in picturesque campsites and an atmospheric palace. You will also visit the Pink City of Jaipur and finish in Pushkar during the annual world-famous camel fair, a fitting end to an unforgettable experience.
DAY 1: Fly London – Delhi
DAY 2: Transfer to Agra to rest and acclimatise.
DAY 3: Visit Taj Mahal. Bike fitting.
DAY 4: Start the challenge through colourful Rajasthan Ride to camp near Bashawar. 71km

Level: Very Challenging
Conquer Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Have the experience of a lifetime whilst raising money for the Wings of Hope’s education projects in India and Malawi. You will climb to an altitude of 5895 metres and marvel at the diverse ecosystem from cultivated farmlands on the lower levels, through lush rainforest and alpine meadow to a barren lunar landscape at the top. Watch sunrise from the summit. This is one of the most challenging events which Classic Tours offer and is not for the faint hearted!
DAY 1: Fly London – Nairobi.
DAY 2: Fly Nairobi – Kilimanjaro.
DAY 3: Start ascent from Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut. 4½ hrs
DAY 4: Long trek uphill through the cloud level to Horombo Hut. 7-8 hrs
DAY 5: Acclimatisation day. Trek to Mawenzi Pass and back. 5 hrs
DAY 6: Follow lower route to Kibo Hut through spectacular flora and fauna. 7-8 hrs
DAY 7: Trek halfway to summit to acclimatise. 5 hrs
DAY 8: Trek to the summit for sunrise. Return to Horombo Hut. 15-17 hrs
DAY 9: Descend to Marangu Park Gate. Celebratory meal.
DAY 10: Fly Kilimanjaro – Nairobi – London.
DAY 11: Arrive London.
The advantages of climbing Kilimanjaro:
- Fly to Kilimanjaro.
- 7 day ascent and descent, the minimum climb recommended by the Royal Geographic Society to improve safety.
- Our success rate of trekkers reaching the top is very high compared with shorter itineraries (Sept 2009 group - 97% success rate).
- Our service includes specialist high altitude equipment: Oxygen, Hyperbaric Chamber, practise run of the evacuation procedure.

One Big Drop™

Earls Court Abseil
A brand new Classic Tours challenge for 2010! Abseil down of one of London’s most famous venues and one of the UK’s largest indoor arenas. Earls Court opened in 1937 and since then it is has established itself as a flagship venue, hosting events such as the Brit Awards, Ideal Home Show and many music concerts.
Enjoy panoramic views across London from the top, before abseiling 20 metres / 66 feet to the bottom. This is the equivalent to abseiling down 5 double-decker buses, one on top of the other!
No experience of abseiling is necessary to take part as a full instruction will be given on the day by the qualified team.
