Calling all budding photographers!

We will be holding a 'wacky photo competition' on WOHAA Day

so get inventive and snap some interesting pictures of your team

in action. Capture your wacky wing related fundraising on film and

be in on a chance to win a XBOX console with games thrown in!

The deadline for photo submissions will be on Friday 20th November,

so get snapping!

Get your projects out there

WOHAA Day is a great opportunity for your team to launch

and publicise your events. Take advantage of this day and

use it as a platform to raise awareness and funds of your

upcoming WOHAA projects. So how is your team going to

get involved? Will you hold a winged bake sale? Do a crazy

chicken dance? Or hold a giant paper aeroplane race? How-

ever you plan to fundraise, make sure you get your creative

juices flowing!

Break a world record

Not only is the 12th of November the first ever WOHAA Day, it

is also Guinness World Record Dya 2009! Here is a great idea,

why not combine your fundraising efforts with breaking a world

record? Your WOHAA Day could go down in history!

Think BIG

This could also be a chance to get together with other teams

in your school and organise an extravagant joint event to share

ideas and tips.

Get Online

Don't forget, you can always log onto the online student forum if

you are stuck for ideas or want to share your sensational idea

with other WOHAA participants. Make sure your friends stay up-

dated through Facebook events and status updates and tweet

all about it on our Twitter page!

Alumni

Also, don't forget that if you are WOHAA alumni you can also

get involved in the day by helping out at an event or event rally

your WOHAA team together holding your own one off event to

relive those WOHAA glory days!

On Thursday 12th November 2009the first ever WOHAA fundraising day will launch! Students from all over the UK will be 'Getting their wings on' and getting involved in wing related fundraising for WOHAA Day.

Any wings go!     

Students at participating schools from around the country will be able to pay £1 to wear wings to school for one whole day! Look out for posters that will be appearing around your school. There are so many ways to get involved - so make sure your team doesn't miss out and get creative with fundraising ideas!
