UCL Union Hindu Society supports Wings of Hope at Rangeela 2009
February 2009
180 performers took to the stage of the Queen's Theatre in London for the UCL Union Hindu Society annual cultural variety show 'Rangeela 2009' in an electrifying performance of drama, dance, fashion and music.
The aim of Rangeela 2009 was to raise money for charitable causes whilst fostering integration amongst students and allowing them to grow at a personal level through performing arts. The the past few months the goal has been to discover and develop the fine talents hidden among UCL students and bring them all together into one outstanding performance.
The Wings of Hope were delighted to be selected as the chosen charity for Rangeela 2009. We would like to thank Rajiv Chabria (President), Yaj Samaroo (General Secretary), the Hindu Society Committee and all those involved in Rangeela for their hard work and support for the Wings of Hope, and congratulate them on their fantastic performance.
