Cambridge University Indian Society supports Wings of Hope at Mayura Ball 2009

February 2009

Cambridge University Indian Society organised their fantastic Mayura Ball to showcase the very best in British Asian arts and entertainment whilst raising money for the Wings of Hope.

The night began with a champagne reception, complete with harpist and singer, followed by a sumptuous three course meal and unlimited supply of drinks.

The room was awash with colour and elegance, and it was clear that everyone had made a real effort to dress to impress. Entertainment included Arjun, whose new age sound blends smooth RnB, funky house and garage with an Asian twist, and DJ Luck and MC Neat, two of the UKs biggest garage superstars.

The Wings of Hope were delighted to be selected as the chosen charity Mayura. We would like to thank Sejal Sanghavi, Mrinal Singh, Arjun Flora, Anjili Shah and Anand Ashok for their hard work and support for the Wings of Hope, and congratulate them on their fantastic event.
